🎓 1. Academic Criteria and Promotion

Does your congress meet the Academic Incentive Criteria? â–¼
ISHEAC holds the status of an "International Congress" with its invited foreign speakers, scientific and advisory boards, and researchers participating from various countries. However, due to recent amendments in the relevant regulations in our country (e.g., more than half of the total participants being foreign nationals), ISHEAC, like many large-scale congresses based in Turkey, does not guarantee the Academic Incentive Allowance criteria. Our congress is a platform aimed at scientific sharing and meeting associate professorship/appointment criteria rather than academic incentives.
Does your congress meet the Associate Professorship and Academic Promotion Criteria? â–¼
Yes. ISHEAC fully meets the Associate Professorship criteria determined by the Interuniversity Board (ÜAK) and the definition of an "International Scientific Meeting" in the academic promotion and appointment guidelines (Assist. Prof., Assoc. Prof., Professor) of universities.
Can the studies published in the congress book be used in the associate professorship application file? â–¼
Yes. Abstract or full-text papers presented at our congress and published in the Proceedings Book are included in the scoring scope for Associate Professorship applications and academic appointments.

📄 2. Publication and Paper Submission Process

Can I make corrections after uploading my paper to the system? â–¼
Yes. You can update your submission or correct textual errors in the paper submission system. These operations remain active until the congress program is announced.
Except for the paper I present, do I have to pay a fee for other papers that include my name? â–¼
No. The registration fee covers the corresponding author's participation in the congress and paper presentation. You do not need to make an extra payment for other papers that include your name but will be presented by another author.
With how many papers can I participate in the congress? â–¼
You can present a maximum of 2 (two) papers with the standard congress registration fee. If you wish to participate with more than 2 papers, you must pay an additional registration fee.

✅ 3. Registration, Cancellation, and Participation

Can I attend the congress by making a daily registration? â–¼
Since our congress registration fees are determined as a package covering the entire scientific program and social facilities, we do not have a daily registration option. You can proceed with the standard registration category that suits you.
Can I register on-site on the day of the congress? â–¼
Yes. You can participate by completing your registration at our registration desk (On-Site Registration) at the congress center. However, we highly recommend completing your registration via our website prior to the congress for quota planning and badge preparation.
Can I register only to attend the exhibitions and workshops? â–¼
The exhibitions and workshops within the scope of the congress are an integral part of the scientific program. Therefore, it is necessary to pay the congress registration fee to attend the exhibitions and workshops; no separate fee is charged for these events, and they are offered free of charge to congress participants.
Can I get a refund in case of registration cancellation? â–¼
Cancellation & Refund: Registration cancellation requests are received via email. If canceled by 12/05/2026, 75% of the registration fee will be refunded. No refunds will be made after this date and/or after access information or certificates of attendance have been shared. Refunds are processed within 15 business days, after deducting bank/payment infrastructure commissions.
