In an era where the importance of scientific knowledge production and interdisciplinary collaboration is continuously growing, the need for innovative and inclusive platforms that bring together the fields of science, health, and art is greater than ever. Guided by this vision, the 1st International Congress on Science, Health, and Art (ISHEAC), which we successfully held last term, brought together researchers, academics, and practitioners at national and international levels, creating a strong scientific sharing network.

This year, the 2nd ISHEAC-2026, to be hosted once again by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in the Bucak district of Burdur on May 15–17, 2026, aims to provide participants with richer, multi-dimensional, and high-quality content through scientific sessions, art workshops, as well as oral and online presentations. We believe that the paper presentations, spanning a wide spectrum from health sciences to social sciences, environmental studies to engineering, and art and design to education, will strengthen interdisciplinary interaction and foster a significant academic synergy at our congress.

Furthermore, the 2nd ISHEAC-2026 has been designed as a scientific event that meets the academic criteria for university appointment and promotion processes, as well as associate professorship applications. Participants presenting papers at our congress will have the opportunity to have the full texts of their accepted works published as book chapters by PALET Publishing, which is indexed in the Web of Science Book Citation Index (WoS BKCI).
