General Format and Writing Guidelines

• The full article in the MS Word file must be written in accordance with these author guidelines. All articles must be submitted in *.doc or *.docx format and sent to the email address isheac@isheac.com.
• There will be no abstracts in the full book chapter texts.
• Authors are expected to submit carefully written and proofread materials. A thorough check for spelling and grammatical errors must be performed.
• The prepared papers should clearly describe the background of the subject, the author's work, the methods used, the results, and the concluding discussion regarding the significance of the work. Technical terms should be explained unless they are assumed to be known by the target audience.
• A 12-point Times New Roman font must be used in the articles. Headings must also be in Times New Roman.
• Page Margins: Top, bottom, left, and right margins should be set to 2.5 cm.
• Figure and table captions should be sufficient to explain the figure or table without the need to refer to the text. Figures and tables not referred to in the text should not be presented. Figure and table captions must be in Times New Roman font and 10 points in size.
• Paragraph indents should be 1 cm.
• Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively within the text. The font size of tables, footnotes, and references should be 10 points.
• First-level section headings must be written in uppercase and bold, while for second-level and other subsection headings, the first letter of each word must be capitalized and bold.
• The citation style to be used in the text and the bibliography section must be prepared according to the APA 7 style. All cited sources must be listed completely in alphabetical order by the author's surname in the bibliography section at the end of the text.
• Book Chapters must be a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 12 pages, including the main text, tables, images, figures, maps, graphics, references, and appendices.
• Full texts will not be proofread or corrected by the committees. Therefore, authors are solely responsible for any spelling and semantic errors.
• Texts submitted for the Book Chapter must not have been previously presented or published elsewhere.
• A maximum similarity rate of 25% is accepted. The similarity report must also be attached when submitting the book chapters.
